Kathy graduated Suma cum laude from Wayne State University with a bachelor’s in journalism in 2020.

Kathy Johnson has published a book on Great Lakes diving, written feature pieces for international publications, and contributed to an academic textbook. Kathy currently writes the monthly column, I Speak For The Fish, for the Detroit PBS program Great Lakes Now.
